Red Mountain 50k & 30K

Time

50k Race starts promptly at 6:05 am . The 30k start time is 7:05am.
Cut-off time is 1:35 pm to finish the race with nutritional and medical support provided … that is a total of 7.5 hours to finish the race.
We will be providing rides to the finish line area for those who have not finished by 1:35 pm. If you choose to finish after the 7.5 hour mark, you do so at your own risk. There will not be medical or nutritional support provided.

Cost

50k Ultra marathon
* $65 for registration through February 15th
* $70 for registration through March 15th
* $80 for registration through April 14th

* Registration officially closes at midnight April 14th for online registration.
* Registration by postal mail must be postmarked by April 5, 2011.
30k Road Race
* $35 for registration through February 15th
* $40 for registration through March 15th
* $50 for registration through April 14th

* Registration officially closes at midnight April 14th for online registration.
* Registration by postal mail must be postmarked by April 5, 2011.

Limited Registration

The ultra marathon is capped at 350 runners. The 50k at 150 runners. The 30k is capped at 200 runners. Registration is available online at racesonline.com. The race registration closes on April 19th 5 days prior to the race. Alternatively, you can register by postal mail by downloading race registration form.

Acceptance Letter

Once you are registered you should receive an email confirmation of your successful registration. If you register by postal mail you will receive an e-mail confirmation.

Packet Pickup

Packet pick-up will be at Elite Creators located at 3884 South River Road Building B. St. George UT Packets can be picked up from 4-7 pm on April 22nd. NO RACE DAY PICKUP.

We are so excited to welcome Krissy Moehl, an elite ultra-trail athlete, event promoter and coach, as our guest athlete and event speaker. Krissy Moehl has participated in ultra-trail running races around the world including winner of the 2010 Shinetsu Five Mountains 110km. Krissy will share a video presentation from her trail racing experiences all over the world, with Q&A to follow.
Packets will not be available at the race start, please ensure you pickup your packet the night prior. Also, if you plan on running in two sets of shoes please leave your shoes you will run miles 12-31 in at Elite Creators when you pick up your packet. Please have your shoes placed in a bag and clearly labeled with your name AND bib! It is your responsibility to mark the bag clearly. We are not responsible for lost shoes. This is a courtesy to runners and shoe drop is done at your own risk (see Shoe Pickup below). Course The 50 k race will start at SR-18 and Pinevalley Road intersection. It will cover 12 miles of beautiful trail and 19 miles of scenic paved roads. The 30k will start west of Veyo Utah on the Gunlock Scenic Byway. Both races will end at the Ivins Unity Park in downtown Ivins Utah.(400 South 400 West)
