The City of St. George is the partner and co-sponsor of the

2010 Ironman St George. The St. George area will play host to

the grueling race that includes a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike

ride and 26.2 mile marathon. The race will be a qualifier for

the Ironman World Championship, which happens each October

in Hawaii. The St. George race will be one of only seven fulldistance

races in the United States.
