The Lake to Lake Relay was once a gain a great hit. About 100 team of 5 ran the 50 mile course from Gunlock Reservoir, through the streets of Ivins, Santa Clara and St. George to the Sand Hallow Reservoir. The St. George Running Center girl's teams - The SheBraz and the Black Betty's took 1st and 3rd with the Shebraz taking a 4 mile wrong turn. The guys team took 1st overall to hold it's title for the 3rd year in a row. This is a great relay put on by the City of St. George. We love participating in these shorter relays that don't take all day. Also the baquet the evening after the race rocked as usual.

The 2011 St. George Marathon was a hot one! John Bozung, a 18 time participant of the said it was the hottest year he could remember. As a result many participants had hydartion issues and slower times. The once nice thing about having it warmer was you didn’t need to stand around the fires at the start to stay warm and no gloves or long sleeves were needed at the start as well.
