SOUTHERN UTAH HALF MARATHON

End: Bloomington Park, St. George, UT
Brief Description: The Southern Utah Half Marathon is a beautiful route starting at Highland Park in Washington,UT offering amazing views of the sun rising over Zions National Park in the distance. The race will proceed quickly downhill through City of Washington to the scenic Virgin River Trail. This paved trail offers a gradual decline grade for the remaining 9 miles of the race.
Starting Line: The starting line will be at the top of Highland Pkwy, about 200 yards above the homes on Crown King Ave. There will also be porta potties and pre-race refreshments upon request, staged in the parking area on the North end of the park.
Race participants will be bused from the finish line at Bloomington Park, St. George to the starting line at Highland Park, Washington . Bus drop off and turn around will take place where Highland Pkwy meets Crown King Ave right next to the lower parking area at Highland Park. Please note that everyone on the bus must have some kind of face covering on during the bus ride. We will be providing masks for those that do no have one as you are line up to get on the bus.
Race Start & Pacers: For this years event we will be having a rolling/ open start for 15 minutes from 7:00am – 7:15am to help maintain a social distance.

7:00 am – Start (Elite, No Pacer), 7:00:30 am – Start (1:40 Pacer), 7:01 am – Start (1:50 Pacer), 7:01:30 – Start (2:00 Pacer), 7:02 am – Start (2:10 Pacer), 7:02:30 am – Start (2:20 Pacer), 7:03 am – Start (2:30 Pacer)
We just ask that you be mindful of what your pace is and what group you start in-front of.
FINISH LINE: The race will finish at the Bloomington Park in St. George. As runners come across the Man of War bridge they will take an immediate left onto the walkway. As you come into the finish line volunteers will hand you your medal and refreshments. Please remember to keep your distance as you rest on the grass from your event.
