    Snow Canyon Half Marathon
    This Half Marathon features a beautiful route through the scenic landscape of Snow Canyon State Park, starting at 9 am. The course is USATF certified and includes some steep downhills! It's fast, and on one of the most breathtaking courses St. George has to offer!   The 10k starts in Snow Canyon State Park where it joins the Half Marathon course. The 5k course follows the picturesque Lava Flow Trail that surrounds Snow Canyon High School and joins the Half Marathon course for the final mile.   Come take in the beauty of Southern Utah!     Zen Trail Group Run
    Looking for a moment of peace during the holidays or training for Capstone 50k? Come on out to the Zen Group Trail Run! All paces are welcome. Zen is a little rocky but offers great views so come out to Zen and meet fellow trail runners.     Turkey Trot & Food Drive with St. George Races
    Celebrate this Thanksgiving Holiday by joining St. George Races for the 2025 Harvest Festival and Turkey Trot! Help us support the Utah food bank by bringing as many canned goods as you can! After the race, be sure to stick around for the Harvest Festival starting at 10:30 am. The festival will feature games, dancing, pie-eating contests and giveaways including frozen turkeys!          Registration Information: Kids 12 years old or younger may register for free with 5 canned goods! Individuals older than 12 years may register for only $10 with 5 canned goods!  Packet Pickup Information: Packet pickup will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 4:00PM-8:00PM at Viva Chicken, located at 1183 E 100 S, St. George, UT 84790.     Last One Standing Ultra
    Come join us for the Last One Standing Ultra! Whether you run 6 miles, 102 miles, or somewhere in between, this race is sure to be one for your books! This race will the be on asphalt trails of the famous Mayor's Loop, which keeps runners close to the Virgin River while also showing great viewpoints of the whole city! Come see how many loops you can complete! Click the link above to register now!   This is a self-supported Ultra running event that is available to all! The adult Ultra race includes a 6-mile loop that is run every 90 minutes. Runners must make it back to the start/finish line within the 90 minutes in order to stay in the race. Anyone who doesn't make it back in time, will be eliminated. There will be 16 regular loops, all starting 90 minutes after the last. The 17th and final lap will be an all-out race to determine the winners. There is also a kids division that includes a 5.3-mile loop, in which kids may use any non-motorized means of transportation (ie. bikes, scooter, roller blades, Heely's unicycles, etc.). The kids loop is the same as the adult loop, excluding the first .7-mile out-and-back. Start time: 3 pm on December 12th!

    Baker's Dozen Half Marathon/5k
    When was the last time you gained weight during a race?!   The Baker's Dozen Half Marathon, Relay, & 5K is your opportunity to combine some of the best things in life: 1) Friends, 2) Running, and 3) Sugar!   The Baker's Dozen is a social, fun event where runners race a 3.25 mile loop course allowing them to interact with other runners during the whole race. Half marathoners will run the loop four times and have the incredible fortune of passing the aid station (affectionately known as the "Sugar Shack") at the end of every loop.   All half marathon and relay runners will receive an AMAZING finisher's medal. But.....you have to earn it. Not only do you run 13 miles, but to earn a medal you must also consume a treat each time you pass the Sugar Shack (3 times total). Volunteers will verify your gluttony, so don't register for the race if you don't plan to eat some calories. (Each relay runner just needs to eat one treat.)   Half marathon not your speed? That's ok! Join us for the "just barely over 5K"!

    Dragon's Trail Stair Challenge, 5k & Fun Run
    Join the 2nd annual Dragon’s Tail Stair Climb Challenge, the newest and most intense race, where only the fiercest runners will rise to the challenge! Set against the backdrop of towering steps, this unique competition is unlike anything you've seen before. Participants will face a brutal flight of 333 stairs—descending then climbing as many times as they can. Each lap completed brings them one step closer to victory, but only the last runner standing will claim the title of Dragon King or Queen. Click the link above to register now!!   Race Overview: This event includes three race options: a 5K/1K run-walk, a Sprint Challenge, and an Endurance Challenge. The staircase will be closed to the public during all races.   5K & 1K Run/Walk (7:30 AM): Starts at the top of the stairs, loops the Tech Ridge Trail, drops to the bottom of the staircase, and finishes with the climb back up.   Sprint Challenge (9:00 AM): Run in heats — fastest time overall wins bragging rights and a special prize.   Endurance Challenge (10:00 AM–4:00 PM): A lap starts every 12 minutes. Participants descend and re-climb the staircase each lap. There are 25 total laps, with a final timed sprint to determine overall male + female winners. Finishers receive a medal after the first lap and milestone awards along the way. Complete all laps = you’ve climbed the equivalent of a 5K of stairs!

    Dogtown Half Marathon/10k/5k
    Get ready for a beautiful, community-powered race day at the Dogtown Half Marathon! Packet pick-up is on Friday, January 30th, and once you’ve got your bib, you’re all set for race morning.   The Half Marathon kicks off at 9:00 AM, and runners will take the shuttle from Sullivan Virgin River Soccer Park to the scenic start line — no stress, just good pre-race vibes on the ride up.   The course winds through quiet neighborhoods, rolling paths, and paved trails, with gorgeous canyon + river views as you make your way into Sullivan Park for a celebratory finish. Along the way, aid stations will keep you fueled and supported so you can settle in, have fun, and enjoy the run. Clothing drop is available at the start (just avoid packing valuables), and after you cross the finish, you’ll head to the Runners Area for snacks, recovery, and high-fives all around.   We're excited to support this race and the amazing runners who make our local running community so special! See you there!

    As the temperatures drop and the holidays approach, its the perfect time to slow down, reflect, and move with gratitude. This month, were inviting you to join our Gratitude & Movement Challenge a simple, motivating way to stay active and celebrate the season with our running community.

    Run, walk, or hike 27 miles before November 27th (Thanksgiving Day) however and wherever you want. Whether you log your miles on Strava, Coros, Garmin, or any other app, every step counts!

    To join in, just track your miles, take a screenshot once you hit 27, and post it on social media tagging @StGeorgeRunningCenter. Thats it! Once you've posted and tagged us, you'll be entered to win a free pair of shoes!

    Its a fun, low-pressure way to stay consistent, share your progress, and kick off the holiday season feeling strong, grateful, and connected.
